#Seriously #GOP Mitt--come on! What happened to economic parity?

The Value Voters Summit: showcased GOP candidate Mitt Romney's wise decision making:
I promise more food stamps for married people and I promise to make baby daddies marry their baby mommas.
Notice no promise of economic parity between the classes. No plan to create jobs, just more incentive to marry by offering increased food stamp amounts. Seriously? In a campaign speech, he says this? It's a good policy if the plan is paid for but to say it in a campaign speech seems odd and poorly thought out. He's not ready yet.
Go Obama 2012! You have no contenders! Are you our smartest president ever or what?!

Obama Administration Finalizes Historic 54.5 mpg Fuel Efficiency Standards

Consumer Savings Comparable to Lowering Price of Gasoline by $1 Per Gallon by 2025 WASHINGTON, DC – The Obama Administration today finalized groundbreaking standards that will increase fuel economy to the equivalent of 54.5 mpg for cars and light-duty trucks by Model Year 2025.  When combined with previous standards set by this Administration, this move will nearly double the fuel efficiency of those vehicles compared to new vehicles currently on our roads.
