Summer love or True love: is there a difference?


Constructing a relationship is deliberate however the spontaneity of a summer love can either make the heart feel young or leave a yawning chasm and complete confusion.
Summer love is a brief romance or dating scenario that ends in a few months. It burns hot and heavy when things are going well and fizzles when conditions change. There are very few deliberate constructs, commitments, or plans for the future. What makes the summer romance so special are the people contained within the relationship: they are ready and open for love.

With the spring weather comes the desire to go outdoors more, thus opening oneself to meeting new people. The methods are simple. The decision to get up a little early and go for coffee, choosing to sit on the patio to enjoy the morning warmth can lead to being on display for anyone driving or walking near you. You don't know who they are and vice versa. If you chose to make a habit of this, it is only a matter of time before a new person enters your life.

Warm weather brings a change of wardrobe and or hair style/color. Maybe the dark straight hair played well underneath a knit hat in the winter but the summer brings out the fiery auburn, blondes, frosts, streaks, and chunky highlights.

Maybe that guy or gal who says hello out of courtesy has an eye-popping change of heart once he/she sees you in a new spring suit or tie or shirt, narrow-cut clothing, or new shoes. Maybe that guy or girl notices the new blonde do or the confidence garnered by being pleased with one's looks. Maybe you just look good in the sunshine and warm weather.

By any route, summer love does wonders for the ego and may even turn into true love. However be warned that as the months wear on, the love may wear out but do not panic or get upset. Go with the flow. No one certainly looks to bring the wrong types of people into their lives so never force the issue. Remember, if you love him/her, let him or her go. The love may return to you naturally, which is good because then you won’t look like a stalker.

Obama Administration Finalizes Historic 54.5 mpg Fuel Efficiency Standards

Consumer Savings Comparable to Lowering Price of Gasoline by $1 Per Gallon by 2025 WASHINGTON, DC – The Obama Administration today finalized groundbreaking standards that will increase fuel economy to the equivalent of 54.5 mpg for cars and light-duty trucks by Model Year 2025.  When combined with previous standards set by this Administration, this move will nearly double the fuel efficiency of those vehicles compared to new vehicles currently on our roads.
