🌿 Natural Remedies for Demodex Mites

1. Tea Tree Oil Eyelid Wipes (for eyelashes/blepharitis)

  • 1 drop tea tree oil (100%)
  • 2 teaspoons coconut oil or olive oil (carrier oil)
  • Mix well.
  • Dip a clean cotton swab, squeeze out excess, and gently wipe eyelid margins (keep out of the eye).
  • Use once daily at night.

Studies show 5–10% tea tree oil solutions are safe for eyelids and still effective at killing mites.

2. Clove Oil Skin Solution (for face/rosacea-like symptoms)

  • 1 drop clove oil
  • 1 teaspoon jojoba oil (or another light carrier oil)
  • Apply thinly to affected skin (not eyelids) once daily.

⚠️ Test first on a small area. Clove oil is strong but highly effective against mites.

3. Sulfur Mask (traditional anti-mite)

  • 1 teaspoon sulfur powder (can buy online)
  • 2 teaspoons aloe vera gel
  • Mix into a paste, apply to face for 10–15 minutes, then rinse.
  • Use 2–3 times per week.

4. Neem Oil Spot Treatment

  • Pure neem oil
  • Dab a small amount on affected areas before bed.
  • Wash off in the morning.
  • Neem has natural anti-parasitic properties.

5. Soothing Herbal Rinse (for daily cleansing)

  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 teaspoon dried chamomile or calendula flowers
  • Steep 10 minutes, cool completely.
  • Use a cotton pad to cleanse face/eyelids morning and night.

(Helps reduce inflammation and keep skin clean.)
